Pressure Reducing Valve – 2 Bar

RRP £13.69

A Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) is an essential component in compressed air systems, designed to regulate and lower the pressure of incoming compressed air to a specific, safe level (2-6Bar). By precisely controlling the airflow, PRVs ensure that downstream equipment, pneumatic tools, and machinery are shielded from excessive air pressure that could otherwise lead to damage or operational issues. PRVs are integral in various compressed air applications, from maintaining optimal pressure for tools to safeguarding delicate instrumentation and systems. A PRV functions as a safeguard, enabling controlled airflow while preventing potentially harmful high pressures from affecting the integrity and performance of the compressed air system.

Key Features

Safety Mechanism: Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs) are safety devices designed to automatically release excess pressure from compressed air systems.
Emergency Release: Our PRV is designed to accept 7 Bar input pressure and reduce pressure to a predetermined threshold (2-6 Bar)
Rapid Response: PRVs react quickly to pressure changes, ensuring timely pressure relief to safeguard equipment and personnel.
Spring-Loaded Design: PRVs utilize spring pressure which releases when the pressure exceeds the set point, ensuring reliable operation.
Fail-Safe Operation: MaxSafe use spring-loaded PRVs and do not use a diaphragm reducing points of failure to a single point.
Pressure Monitoring: They contribute to system integrity by maintaining pressure within safe operating limits and preventing potential bursts or failures.
Equipment Protection: PRVs safeguard downstream equipment from potential damage due to excessive pressure buildup.
Regulatory Compliance: These valves adhere to industry standards, ensuring that compressed air systems meet safety and performance requirements.
Versatile Applications: PRVs are used in various industries, such as manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace, wherever compressed air is utilized.
